PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for DC-DC converter, capable of preventing generation of power shortage upon reception of a request for a rapid high load, while exhibiting high efficiency of a DC-DC converter to the maximum.SOLUTION: The control section 31 for DC-DC converter, executing charging control for charging into an auxiliary battery 60 from a strong electric battery 20 through a DC-DC converter 30 when a voltage of the auxiliary battery 60 drops to a predetermined control low voltage value VDL, executes charging as a second voltage rise inclination (IL+α) of an inclination smaller than a first voltage rise inclination (IDe) at a low load request when a load request of a load group 100 is a higher load request than a preset value (IDe) and executes high load request control for setting a control low voltage value VDL to start charging of an auxiliary battery 60 at a second voltage (VDLmin+&bgr;) larger than a first voltage (VDLmin) at a low load request. |
