PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: an aromatic polyamide film in which a light transmittance of light of a visible light region is high, and that has resistance to acetone, and a low thermal expansion coefficient; and a method of manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: An aromatic polyamide film includes an aromatic polyamide containing silicon in which an aromatic polyamide structural unit shown by chemical formula (I) and a structural unit derived from a silicon compound are bonded, and satisfies the following all (1)-(3). (1) The light transmittance of light of a wavelength 385 nm is at least 15%. (2) The resistance to acetone is possessed. (3) The average thermal expansion coefficient from 100°C to 200°C of at least one direction is from 0 to 40 ppm/°C. |
