The endoprosthesis, particularly intraluminal endoprosthesis, e.g. a stent, has a base lattice made of a biodegradable material, and a coating (30) that is formed inertly. The base lattice is completely covered by the coating up to a degradation region for controlling of the degradation within a region. The degradation range is formed as recess in the inert coating. The inert coating has a group that is made of polysulfone, silicone rubber, polyurethane, synthetic glycocalix, amorphous silicon carbide, diamond-like carbon, magnesium phosphate, magnesium oxide, inorganic magnesium and alloys. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing endoprosthesis. |
