PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a traffic loop in communication between networks connected by a plurality of active connection paths on the condition of restraining changes in a network facility.SOLUTION: At a gateway forming each of a plurality of connection paths connecting between networks, when a frame receiving unit 11 receives a frame, a loop detection unit 16 detects a loop of the frame by means of a network identification information holding unit 14 for holding the identifier of a network connected with each port together with the port and the identifier of the gateway, and a terminal information holding unit 15 for holding terminal information made up of a set of the identifier of a terminal and the identifier of a network where the terminal is situated. If there is a loop, the gateway discards the frame, and if there is no loop, the gateway transmits the frame to a network other than a reception network via a frame transmission unit, and records the terminal information in the terminal information holding unit 15. |
