PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to install, easily and in a compact manner, a pair of holding valves for keeping both side oil chambers of an off-set cylinder in an oil-tight state, in a small space while avoiding interference between the holding valves including piping.SOLUTION: An off-set type construction machine including an off-set cylinder 15, as an off-set driving source, provided in an off-set boom constituting a boom for a work attachment has a configuration including both holding valves 16A, 16B on the head side and on the rod side provided above the off-set cylinder 15 and outside the off-set boom in a state in which the holding valves' positions shift in the boom's length direction and in a vertical position shift state in which the holding valve 16B on the boom tip side is above the holding valve 16A.
