PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a method and a device capable of determining a tumor site more correctly than before, from a specimen including a connective tissue including a substance having autofluorescent property.SOLUTION: A method is configured so that, respective image information is acquired, in which the respective pieces of image information correspond to intensity distribution of a first light which is received via a first filter which transmits light of a first wavelength band including a peak wavelength of fluorescence which is emitted by porphyrins, light intensity distribution of light which is received via a second filter which transmits light of a second wavelength band at the side of a wavelength shorter than the first wavelength band, and light intensity distribution of light which is received via a third filter which transmits light of a third wavelength band at the side of a wavelength longer than the first wavelength band, out of fluorescence from a specimen. Based on these pieces of image information, the image information corresponding to the intensity distribution of fluorescence emitted by porphyrins out of the first light, is created, then based on the image information, determination of a tumor site and a non-tumor site is performed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
