PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a backup system of a waste disposal device for railway vehicle which can operate a waste disposal device by supplying power and compressed air to the waste disposal device at the time of power failure.SOLUTION: At the time of power failure, an electrical connection state between a normal power source 20 and a waste disposal device 10 and an electrical connection state between a main battery 30 and an auxiliary electrical air compression device 40 are shut down, and an electrical connection state between a backup battery 50 and the waste disposal device 10 and an electrical connection state between the backup battery 50 and the auxiliary electrical air compression device 40 are secured. Power of the backup battery 50 thus can be supplied to the waste disposal device 10 and the auxiliary electrical air compression device 40, and changeover is made from a state where compressed air is supplied to the waste disposal device 10 through a main pipeline to a state where the compressed air is supplied to the waste disposal device 10 through an auxiliary pipeline. Consequently, the compressed air generated by the auxiliary electrical air compression device 40 can be send to the waste disposal device 10 at the time of power failure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
