PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a sales data processing device intelligent by combining a camera with a display unit for a customer comprised in the sales data processing device that performs registration processing of sales data per transaction, thereby to make camera installation work unnecessary, and to enable easy addition of a high-performance camera to even a low-priced sales data processing device.SOLUTION: An ECR 1 includes a body unit device 100 and a camera unit device 200. The camera unit device 200 includes: an attachment part (a communication cable 300 and a power cable 400) detachably attached to the body unit device 100 and capable of being electrically connected; a display unit for a customer 204 for a customer waiting for registration to see; a customer side camera 205 and an operator side camera 207; a recording unit (a CPU 201 and a storage unit 202) for sequentially recording an image taken with a camera; and a control unit (the CPU 201 and the storage unit 202) for controlling the operation of each of the display unit for the customer 204, the customer side camera 205, the operator side camera 207, and the recording unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
