Disclosed are a system and a method for managing a parking position to safely park a vehicle and easily find the position of the vehicle parked in unfamiliar indoor and outdoor parking lots. The system for managing a parking position according to the present invention comprises: a vehicle key unit for generating a lock signal (engine off) by closing a vehicle door and generating an unlock signal (engine on) by opening the vehicle door; a parking control unit provided inside a vehicle to receive the lock signal from the vehicle key unit and acquire first position information of the vehicle from a position tracking unit in response to the received lock signal; and a mobile terminal for receiving the first position information of the parking control unit through a wireless network to display the first position information on a display screen while storing the first position information. Also, the system for managing a parking position comprises a short-range communication unit for acquiring second position information instead of the first position information. Therefore, the system of the present invention enables a user to easily check the parking position through locking without several operations for finding the parking position by automatically acquiring the parking position of the vehicle anywhere in the indoor and outdoor parking lots and providing the mobile terminal with the parking position of the vehicle. |
