PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner capable of preventing deformation of a suction hose by reducing stress applied to the suction hose when storing the vacuum cleaner, and improving the appearance as the suction hose is neatly contained in the storage posture of the vacuum cleaner.SOLUTION: A vacuum cleaner in which an electric blower and a dust collection pack are housed in a body case 10, and a suction hose 20 for guiding dust to the dust collection pack is connected to the body case includes: a suction pipe 30 in which a suction head 50 is connected to the tip side, and the suction hose 20 is connected to the rear end side; a handle part 40 slidable along the longitudinal direction of the suction pipe 30; a holding mechanism for holding the suction pipe on the body case in a vertical posture by causing a holding piece 33 formed on the tip side of the suction pipe 30 to engage with a suction pipe holding part 16 formed in the bottom of the body case 10 in a state that the back face of the body case 10 is brought into contact with the floor surface; and fixing devices 70 and 71 for fixing the suction hose 20 to the body case 10 side while the suction pipe is held in a vertical posture.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9 |
