PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cell separation method by which a fraction containing target cells can be effectively and efficiently obtained from a blood sample by using density gradient centrifugal separation method.SOLUTION: The cell separation method comprises the steps of: accommodating a first medium on the bottom part of a centrifuge tube in a temperature state of a coagulation point or more and 14°C or less (steps S12, S14); overlaying a second medium which has a density lower than that of the first medium, on the first medium (step S16); overlaying a blood sample on the second medium (step S18); centrifugally separating the first medium, second medium, and the blood sample (step S20); and collecting a fraction containing target cells from a layer which is obtained via the centrifugally separating step, between a first medium layer and a second medium layer (step S22). |
