An air purifier disclosed by the present invention comprises a main body shell, an air purifying part and a fan, a blowing-out opening adjusting part, and a controlling part, wherein the upper part of the main body shell is provided with a blowing-out opening; the front surface of the main body shell is provided with a sucking-in opening; the air purifying part and the fan are arranged in the main body shell; the blowing-out opening adjusting part is used for adjusting the opening area of the blowing-out opening; and the controlling part is connected with the fan and the blowing-out opening adjusting part. The controlling part has a normal mode and a cleaning mode which respectively controls the fan and the blowing-out opening adjusting part. Moreover, the opening area of the blowing-out opening in the cleaning mode is smaller than the opening area of the blowing-out opening in the normal mode. Besides, the rotating speed of the fan in the cleaning mode is equal to or greater than the rotating speed of the fan in the normal mode. |
