PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bathing apparatus decreasing the operation trouble of a bathing caregiver when executing bathing work for watertightly closing an opening part of a bathtub body by a carrier vehicle and having an improved operability. SOLUTION: This bathing apparatus is provided with the bathtub body 2 having an open upper face and the opening part 4 formed by cutting off one-side wall part, a bathing carrier vehicle 3 having a flat surface 19b facing the circumferential edge face 4a of the opening part 4, and a locking means 33 pressedly fixing the flat surface 19b and the circumferential edge face 4a for watertightly closing the opening part 4 by a part of the carrier vehicle 3 including the flat surface 19b; and is further provided with a temporary locking means 28, when the carrier vehicle 3 is entered inward the bathtub body 2 from the direction of the opening part to a position where the circumferential edge face 4a faces the flat surface 19b, automatically locking a locking tool 26 provided in the bathtub body 2 or the carrier vehicle 3 with a locking object part 27 provided in the carrier vehicle 3 or the bathtub body 2 and temporarily locking the carrier vehicle 3 to the bathtub body 2.
