PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator with an individual difference having no influence on control characteristics at internal temperature control even if there is the individual difference (variation) in resistance value characteristics of an internal temperature regulating variable resistor provided in each refrigerator. SOLUTION: A divided voltage divided by the variable resistor in a substrate inspection mode is detected and recorded as a reference divided voltage value Vs in a nonvolatile memory 2 (S4). Based on the reference divided voltage value Vs recorded in the nonvolatile memory 2 in a normal mode, table information D0 corresponding to a detection value used for controlling a cooler 6 is automatically set (S7), and based on the detection value of the divided voltage by the variable resistor and the table information D0 corresponding to the detection value, the cooler 6 is controlled (S8-S10).
