PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheath for an endoscope, which allows a user to easily attach/detach to/from the endoscope and trocar or the like. SOLUTION: A cleaning sheath 3 provided with a hollow part 16 into which the endoscope 2 is inserted is provided with a switch 24 adjacent to a cap 32 for feeding a lubricating liquid to switch a liquid feed. A through-hole 24a is interconnected to the hollow part 16 and the lubricating liquid is fed to the inner surface side of the hollow part 16 when the switch 24 is downwardly energized, and the switch 24 is pressured by an operation part 6 so as to upwardly move and the through-hole 24a is blocked off the hollow part 16 so as to be interconnected to an outside when the endoscope 2 is inserted.
