PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-quality analyzer, capable of reducing the labor of operators required for analyzing a large number of items of components in a large number of types of samples. SOLUTION: Sample water and a reagent solution are mixed, to make components to be analyzed develop colors, and the concentration of the components to be analyzed is determined, on the basis of absorbance at this time in the water-quality analyzer. The water-quality analyzer is provided with a sample selection part 1 for selecting sample water to be analyzed; a suspension removal part 2 for removing suspension from the sample water selected at the sample selection part 1; a sample feed part 3 for feeding the sample water to a reaction cell 12; a reagent transfer part 4, having a horizontally/vertically moving robot 10 for adding the reagent solution to the reaction cell; a photometric part 6 for measuring the absorbance of a solution, after the sample water and the reagent solution transferred by the reagent transfer part 4 are mixed for reaction in the reaction cell 12; and a control/computation part 7 for controlling the sample selection part 1; the suspension removal part 2; the sample feed part 3; the reagent transfer part 4; the photometric part 6 for computing the concentration, on the basis of measurement results by the photometric part 6.
