PANEL CONNECTION SNAP ASSEMBLY

A connection assembly (10) incorporating a striker (20) of elongated configuration including a base platform (34) and an elongated pin segment (26) projecting away from one side of the base platform. A housing (22) holding the striker includes a plurality of internal snap arms (60) normally extending in inwardly angled relation. The elongated pin segment extends along an axial passageway such that a distal ball head (30) and at least a portion of the striker shaft (28) project outwardly away from the housing with the internal snap arms behind the base platform. A striker catch (24) engages the distal ball head upon insertion into the striker catch.
