PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a female type terminal fitting capable of improving contact reliability by preventing the reduction of a contact load.SOLUTION: A female type terminal fitting 2 includes: a contact spring piece 45 which is brought into contact with a male terminal 10 to be inserted while being supported in a cantilever state; and an auxiliary spring piece 46 which is provided while being supported in a cantilever state along a back face 45s of the contact spring piece. In a free end portion of the contact spring piece, a contact part 47 is formed that is in contact with the male terminal, and the auxiliary spring piece is formed while being bent so as to be in contact with the contact spring piece at two positions (first contact part 46a and second contact part 46b) separated in a direction of extension of the contact spring piece. |
