PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a train information management device which can specify a portion where failure is progressing and contribute to preventive maintenance.SOLUTION: A train information management device 11 coupled to an on-vehicle appliance 12 by a transmission line is configured so that, based on period since the train information management device 11 transmits processing request data to the on-vehicle appliance 12 and until the train information management device receives processing response data which is created after performing processing according to the processing request data from the on-vehicle appliance 12, detects that signal delay occurs on any one of the on-vehicle appliance 12 and transmission line. When the train information management device 11 detects that the signal delay occurs, the train information management device 11 transmits re-try transmission data to the on-vehicle appliance 12, and based on period since the train information management device transmits the re-try transmission data until the train information management device receives re-try reception data which is transmitted by the on-vehicle appliance 12 immediately after receiving the re-try transmission data on he on-vehicle appliance 12, the train information management device 11 specifies a portion where the signal delay occurs. |
