PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving device capable of driving a motor even in the case where a failure occurs in a current sensor for detecting a phase current of the motor, the driving device including a step-up converter.SOLUTION: When a learning condition is established, while executing voltage hold control for controlling the step-up converter so as to hold a voltage VH of a high-voltage power line at a predetermined voltage VH1 (S130), normal PWM control for controlling an inverter is executed by using a torque command Tm* and currents Iv and Iw of a V phase and a W phase detected by the current sensors (S140), and a command value relation is learnt (a command value relation map is updated) (S150 to S180). When a failure occurs in at least one of current sensors, while executing the voltage hold control, the torque command Tm* of the motor is applied to the command value relation map, and voltage commands Vd* and Vq* of a (d) axis and a (q) axis are set to execute failure-time PWM control for controlling the inverter. |
