PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To economically provide a high quality polyacetal copolymer by a simple process.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for producing a polyacetal copolymer which comprises: a raw material supply step S1 of supplying a raw material containing trioxane, a comonomer which copolymerizes with the trioxane and a nonvolatile protonic acid to a continuous stirrer and mixer-type reactor; a polymerization reaction step S2 of polymerizing the raw material to obtain a reaction mixture; an unreacted monomer resupply step S3 of vaporizing and separating an unreacted monomer from the reaction mixture to resupply the unreacted monomer to the raw material supply step; a polyacetal copolymer recovery step S4 of recovering a polyacetal copolymer from the reaction mixture to a recovery part which is disposed at a downstream side of a take-out port and adjusted to 0.2 kPa by gauge pressure; and a deactivating step S5 of deactivating the nonvolatile protonic acid by adding a basic compound to the polyacetal copolymer recovered in the polyacetal copolymer recovery step and then melt-kneading the resulting mixture. |
