PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio device that can reduce power consumption and enhance communication reliability, and a radio system using the same.SOLUTION: A radio device 21 has a power generating device 1, a power storage portion 3, a voltage comparator 11, a radio transmitter 12, and a controller 13. The controller 13 has a sleep mode, a transmission mode, and a continuous transmission mode as operation modes. When the voltage comparator 11 determines that the voltage between both the ends of the power storage portion 3 is less than a first predetermined voltage V1, the controller 13 controls the radio transmitter 12 not to perform radio transmission operation, and sets the operation mode to the sleep mode. When the voltage comparator 11 determines that the voltage V0 between the power storage portion 3 is not less than the first predetermined voltage V1 and is less than a second predetermined voltage V2, the controller 13 sets the operation mode to the transmission mode. When the voltage comparator 11 determines that the voltage V0 between both the ends of the power storage portion 3 is not less than the second predetermined voltage V2, the controller 13 sets the operation mode to the continuous transmission mode. |
