The present invention relates to a display device which can correct brightness of a light source. The display device according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a display panel which displays images; a light source unit which provides light to the display panel; a light sensing unit which is embedded in the display panel and senses the amount of light provided by the light source unit; and a light source control unit which receives information about the amount of light from the light sensing unit and controls the amount of light provided by the light source unit. The light sensing unit includes: a light sensing layer; and a first electrode and a second electrode which are formed on the light sensing layer to be placed apart from each other.
