PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container crane with two spreaders arranged in parallel in the traversing direction of the crane and easily connectable for handling the plurality of containers or disconnectable for independently handling them, as required, capable of reducing damage to connection members by damping great impact when it is applied to the spreaders. SOLUTION: An impact eliminating mechanism 21 absorbs the instantaneous impact energy of great impact when operating on one or both of the spreaders 10a, 10b of the container crane, to prevent damage to the spreaders 10a, 10b. It is provided on a portion or a contact portion between a first connection member 20 fixed to one spreader 10a and a second connection member 40 fixed to the other spreader 10b.
