<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dehumidifier equipped with a drain tank having no possibility of spilling of water during carrying from a handle inserting hole provided on a lid of the drain tank having a handle. <P>SOLUTION: The dehumidifier is provided with: a heat exchange means 20 heating dehumidified air by sucking atmospheric air; an air blowing means 30 blowing out the heated air from a blow-out port; and the drain tank 40 storing water dropping from the heat exchange means 20. The drain tank 40 is composed of a box-like tank body 41 with an opened upper face, the handle 65 erected in the tank body 41, and the lid 50 having the hole 52 for inserting the handle 65 and set on the upper face of the tank body 41.
