PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately adjust volume balance between singing voice and back ground music (BGM), according to the singing voice and the BGM which are actually input. SOLUTION: The voice processing apparatus comprises: a volume level detecting section 30 for detecting the voice and a volume level of voice and play sound based on a voice signal and a play sound signal which are input; a volume adjusting section 33 which adjusts a maximum volume level of each voice and the play sound detected by the volume level detecting section 30, to a preset level, and which adjusts an average value of each of the voice and the play sound adjusted to the preset level; a basic frequency band detecting section 41 for detecting a basic frequency band from the voice adjusted by the volume adjusting section 33; a band volume adjusting section 43 for adjusting and decreasing the volume level of the band corresponding to the basic frequency band detected by the basic frequency band detecting section 41, by a prescribed amount; and a signal output section 44 for outputting the play sound signal of the play sound which is adjusted by the band volume adjusting section 43 and the voice adjusted by the volume adjusting section 33.
