Electronic circuits are used which monitor the condition of motor vehicle brake fluids. They depend upon electrodes for the information from which is derived the change in dielectric properties of fluids or pourable solids. - The new electrodes (10,50,70) is formed of an external conductor with an interior conductor such that the two conductors form a condenser whose cavity is filled by a fluid medium whose condition is monitored.
