<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide composite particles having a multilayer structure which can be used as functional materials (for example, electronics, automobiles, etc.), cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, foods, etc. without using a harmful organic solvent. <P>SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing composite particles is provided. The method includes a contact process of contacting inorganic particles and a coating material in the presence of a supercritical fluid and an expansion process of expanding a fluid containing the inorganic particles and the coating material, which are obtained in the contact process. The contact process is carried out by controlling the pressure in contacting the inorganic particles and the coating material to make the difference of the density of the inorganic particle and the density of the coating material 0.4 g/cm<SP>3</SP>or less and further, by high-speed stirring the inorganic particle and the coating material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
