This communication device is provided with the following: an NFC circuit that uses a prescribed communication frequency to perform near-field communication with another communication device; an FM reception circuit, the radio-wave reception range of which can be adjusted to a band that includes an integer multiple of the aforementioned communication frequency; a level detection circuit that, when the FM reception circuit is receiving radio waves in a band that includes the aforementioned integer multiple of the abovementioned communication frequency, detects the received level in said band; and an NFC control circuit that controls the NFC circuit so as to reduce the transmission power thereof if the aforementioned received level is lower than a threshold. |
