<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toroidal type continuously variable transmission capable of suppressing abrasion due to a slide between a rotary member which transmits rotational power and an input-side or output-side disk at an engagement part.SOLUTION: A toroidal type continuously variable transmission includes a rotary member (cylinder) 71 which is engaged with an outer peripheral part of an input-side disk 2 and rotates to input rotational power to the input-side disk 2. An end part 71a of the cylinder 71 projects axially from an end part 2d, on an outer peripheral side of the input-side disk 2, of an inner side face 2a of the input-side disk 2, so part of lubricating oil supplied to the inner side face 2a of the input-side disk 2 flows to an outer peripheral side along the inner side face 2a and is then captured by the end part 71a of the cylinder 71. The captured lubricating oil is supplied to an engagement part between the input-side disk 2 and cylinder 71 to suppress abrasion due to a slide at the engagement part.</p> |
