PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus which performs image processing without deteriorating image quality of an output image.SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus which generates an output image by performing predetermined image processing on an input image formed from a plurality of pixel data items, includes: image processing means for reading the input image required for generating the output image into an internal storage circuit as a reference image and performing image processing thereon; storage capacitance determination means for determining whether a data size of the reference image is settled within an allowable storage range of the internal storage circuit; and reference image dividing means for dividing the data size of the reference image if it is determined by the storage capacitance determination means that the data size of the reference image exceeds storage capacity of the internal storage circuit. |
