<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system and a communication method capable of communicating on the basis of each slave at an appropriate communication period according to a communication period required for the slave without separating a network.SOLUTION: In a communication system to which a master-slave communication protocol is applied, a plurality of master devices transmits, to each switch device in different cycles respectively, communication frames of a predetermined format to be communicated with a part or all of a plurality of slave devices. The switch device transfers each communication frame given from the plurality of master devices to each slave device in the subsequent stage in a network, and also, transfers a communication frame transferred in the network to a transmission source master device.</p> |
