PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sediment detector for detecting a sediment on a solar cell, without requiring a complicated configuration.SOLUTION: A sediment detector has a reference section 1 outputting a first output signal depending on the amount of solar radiation, a measurement section 2 outputting a second output signal depending on the amount of solar radiation, and a control section 3 outputting a control signal by comparing the first output signal and second output signal. The reference section 1 has a reference solar cell, and a sedimentation prevention cover provided above the reference solar cell. The measurement section 2 has a solar cell for measurement. Upper surface of the reference solar cell and the upper surface of the solar cell for measurement are arranged substantially in parallel. The control section 3 outputs a control signal depending on the difference between the first output signal and second output signal. |
