<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an expansion gate which prevents a guide rail from being a hindrance to the passage of persons and automobile traffic and which enables an expansion door to be rotated and housed in the contraction of the expansion door. <P>SOLUTION: An expansion gate includes a hinged-side gatepost 1b, an expansion door 2 which is connected in a horizontally rotatable manner to the hinged-side gatepost 1b, and a guide rail 3 which is buried in the ground G. The expansion door 2 comprises a guide member 4 which can be freely engaged with/disengaged from the guide rail 3 by moving upward/downward, and an arm 24 which is provided on the hinged side and which protrudes toward a door end side. When the expansion door 2 is contracted, the guide member 4 moving to the hinged side is engaged with the arm 24 to move upward, and the guide member 4 is disengaged from the guide rail 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
