PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel tank inhibiting or preventing fuel leakage in fuel discharge. ! SOLUTION: In a fuel tank 10, projecting parts 28, 30 projecting to a side of a heat insulation layer 20 from a fuel tank body 16 and an insulator 22 are formed at a gap 24 between the fuel tank body 16 and the heat insulation layer 20 and a gap 26 between the heat insulation layer 20 and the insulator 22 so as to surround a hole-forming area in a bottom surface view. When a hole 46 for extracting fuel is formed in the hole-forming area, even when gasoline 18 invades into the gaps 24, 26 from the hole 46, the gasoline is banked up by the projecting parts 28, 30 because the gaps 24, 26 are blocked by the projecting parts 28, 30, and therefore the gasoline is prevented from being more spread inside the gaps 24, 26. !
