The present invention relates to a brake pedal sensor using a hall switch and a brake pedal sensor signal generation method using the same. To be more specific, the present invention relates to a brake pedal, which detects the movement of the brake pedal with a non-contact method using the hall switch and therefore can be used semi-permanently, and a brake pedal sensor signal generation method using the same. The brake pedal sensor according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises a circuit board with the hall switch, which turns on and off depending on magnetism detected as a magnetic field generating unit moves; the magnetic field generating unit to generate magnetism; a driving unit combined with the magnetic field generating unit to support and move the magnetic field generating unit; a circuit board holder to hold the circuit board; and a main body unit coupled with the driving unit at one end and combined with the circuit board holder at the other end to provide a space in which the driving unit can move. The circuit board is structured to branch electrical signals generated from the hall switch into a stop lamp control signal and a cruise control signal in line with the movement of the magnetic field generating unit. |
