<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To property thermally setting a fiber reinforced resin layer using induction heating at a reduced cost. <P>SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a gas tank includes: a first step of winding a fiber impregnated with a thermosetting resin around the outer circumference of a container 20 to form the fiber reinforced resin layer 21 on the outer circumference of the container 20; and a second step of thermally setting the fiber reinforced resin layer 21. The fiber reinforced resin layer 21 has at least a hoop winding layer 21a in which a fiber is wound around an axis of the container 20. In the second step, the fiber reinforced resin layer 21 is induction-heated by arranging an induction heating coil 40 on the outer circumference of the fiber reinforced resin layer 21 around the axis of the container 20 and moving the induction heating coil 40 along the surface of the fiber reinforced resin layer 21 in the axial direction of the container 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
