<p>The invention relates to a method for generating a gear tooth system, wherein a workpiece to be toothed and a chip-removing tool are brought together by rolling motion until, after several passes of the tool, every flank of the gear tooth system has been generated. During each pass, a cut surface having at least one flank section is generated on the workpiece, wherein an additional motion is superimposed onto the rolling motion, by way of which the flank sections generated during at least two directly consecutive passes are connected. The invention further relates to a controlled gear cutting machine for carrying out said method.</p> |
