<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an infrared ray clinical thermometer for measuring the correct temperature of a human body, which is not influenced by a distance, through the use of an infrared ray sensor. <P>SOLUTION: Capacitance when a proximity sensor constituted by a ground electrode 5 and an electrode S7 approaches a human body is measured. Prestored prescribed capacitance when the proximity sensor is brought into contact with the human body is compared with the capacitance measured by the proximity sensor. When the measured capacitance becomes the prescribed capacitance, it is determined that a sensor body is brought into contact with the human body. The infrared dose from the infrared ray sensor 3 in this case of determination is measured. The body temperature based on the measured infrared dose is calculated and displayed in a liquid crystal display unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
