<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve space saving by sharing a circuit part in an integrated circuit device in which a communication circuit and other circuits are integrally formed. <P>SOLUTION: An ECU is constituted by a microcomputer 11 and a control IC 12. The control IC 12 includes a first power-supply circuit 15 supplying power to the microcomputer 11 and a clock circuit 17, and a second power-supply circuit 24 supplying power to a signal conversion circuit 21 of a CAN transceiver circuit 14. The first power-supply circuit 15 is monitored by a power-supply monitor circuit 16 and is observed by the microcomputer 11. A clock output of the clock circuit 17 is supplied to a first circuit 19 via a counter circuit 18 as a counter output, and is supplied to a timer circuit 23 of a dominant time-out circuit 20. The first power-supply circuit 15, which supplies power to the clock circuit 17, is monitored and can also be used for the timer circuit 23 of the CAN transceiver circuit 14, thereby achieving space saving. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
