<p>The present invention relates to a method for downsizing a wind instrument such as Sanjo-Daegeum with multiple finger holes into a structure proper for performance according to the body dimensions of a performer and a downsizing model according to the method. The method comprises a step of measuring the dimensions of the certain parts of the bodies of the performers performing the wind instrument; a step of sorting the performers into a first age band group suitable for the reference specification of the wind instrument and a second age band group to be applied with the downsized specification of the wind instrument based on the measured dimensions of the certain parts; a step of calculating the average body dimensions of the first and the second age band groups using the measured dimensions of the certain parts; a step of calculating a first dynamic range in which at least two of the fingers of a first performer with the average body dimensions of the first age band group is separated from each other when the first performer performs the wind instrument and a second dynamic range in which at least two of the fingers of a second performer with the average body dimensions of the second age band group is separated from each other when the second performer performs the wind instrument; a step of calculating a ratio between the first and the second dynamic ranges; a step of calculating the downsized specification against the reference specification based on the calculated ratio; and a step of manufacturing the downsized model of the wind instrument, wherein the downsized model corresponds to the calculated downsized specification.</p> |
