PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve user friendliness of a hearing aid.SOLUTION: In a hearing aid 1, it is determined whether the hearing aid 1 is mounted in the earhole without gap in accordance with whether brain waves are being detected via a sensor 13 in a brain wave detection section 14. In the case where the hearing aid 1 is mounted in the state where a gap is generated in the earhole, an amplification factor of a hearing support processing section 10 of the hearing aid 1 is reduced or operation of the hearing support processing section 10 is stopped. Therefore, in the case where brain waves are not detected via the sensor 13 in the state where the hearing aid 1 is mounted in the earhole, namely, in the case where a gap is generated in the earhole, since the amplification factor of the hearing support processing section 10 of the hearing aid 1 is reduced or operation of the hearing support processing section 10 is stopped, generation of howling can be reduced. As a result, user friendliness is extremely improved. |
