PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve appropriate synchronous distribution of an another content related to a certain content.SOLUTION: In a content distribution system, a distribution device includes: distribution information acquiring means for acquiring distribution information which shows that a first content is distributed; and script distribution means for distributing a script for generating a second content in a reception terminal in accordance with a progress situation of the first content included in the distribution information. The reception terminal includes: script acquiring means for acquiring the first content and the script; content generating means for generating the second content from the script; and reproducing means for reproducing the second content by adjusting it to the progress situation of reproduction of the first content.
