PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor for a non-excitation operation type brake, which establishes compatibility between weight saving and securement of sufficient strength and durability.SOLUTION: A rotor center side having a shaft fitting hole 16 and requiring high mechanical strength is made of a metal core plate 12. A rotor outer-periphery side disc part 22, which is a lining sticking part not requiring high mechanical strength than a central part, is resinified.
