<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric oscillator that has conductors formed as electromagnetic shields on package side surfaces to reduce effects of disturbance noise from lateral directions. <P>SOLUTION: A piezoelectric oscillator 100 includes a package 30 formed with a piezoelectric vibrating reed 10 and an electronic circuit element 20 for oscillating the piezoelectric vibrating reed both housed in a bottom center, and a lid 40 sealing the package. A bottom portion of the package includes: a first layer 35A of an insulator material having a first lower surface on which external electrodes 34 are formed and first through electrodes 37A penetrating from the first lower surface to a first upper surface; a second layer 35B of an insulator material having a second lower surface opposed to the first upper surface, a second upper surface, second through electrodes 37B penetrating from the second lower surface to the second upper surface, and first through conductors 38A penetrating from the second lower surface to the second upper surface; and a first conductor layer 36A arranged between the first layer and the second layer and insulated from the first through electrodes and the second through electrodes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
