Disclosed are a method and apparatus for predicting the service life of a device, which relate to the technical field of detection, and improve the accuracy rate of predicting the service life of a device in the process of predicting the service life of the device. The specific implementation of the present invention comprises: obtaining a service life value of a device already used through an acquired value of an influence factor which influences the service life of the device; and acquiring a sample device through the service life value and a set predetermined service life threshold value, and then determining a prediction model for predicting the service life of the device according to the sample device. The technical solution of the present invention is mainly applied to the flow of predicting the service life of a device.
