PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device preventing the occurrence of air bubbles and the extrusion of an adhesive when a front window and a display panel are fixed with the adhesive.SOLUTION: The display device includes a front window for protecting a display panel, in which the front window is fixed to a display surface side of the display panel via an adhesive layer. The display device includes: an annular light-shielding film provided along the peripheral side edge of the front window, and formed by printing a light-shielding film material on the surface at a side where the front window faces the display panel; and a damming layer that is formed on the display panel side by printing and protrudingly extends from the surface of the light-shielding film to the display panel side along the outer edge of the light-shielding film. The damming layer is formed of the light-shielding film material. |
