PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: an agitation blade that includes a lower extension part so as to ensure a satisfactory agitation even when the amount of a fluid in an agitation tank is large as well as when the amount of the fluid is small; and an agitation apparatus.SOLUTION: An agitation apparatus includes an agitation shaft 12 and a plurality of blade bodies 13. Each of the blade bodies 13 is curved and retracted with respect to a rotation direction of an agitation blade 11 as going from the inner end of the blade body 13 to the outer end thereof. The blade body 13 includes a lower extension part 21 extending downward. The lower extension part 21 is inclined rearward at the inner end thereof. The inclination angle is decreased from the inner end toward the outer end.
