Transport system for container closures

The transport system (1) has one or multiple channels (2) in which container closures (3) are transported. The channels are formed by channel segments (4) with guide rails (5). The guide rails are fixed to each other via retaining elements (6) arranged from ends of the guide rails in a spaced-apart manner. End portions (7) of the guide rails are connected to each other, where each of the retaining elements has an opening (8) that encloses the guide rail. The guide rails are formed by projections transverse to the channels, over which the retaining elements are connected with the guide rails.
