PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame-retardant coating agent for a polyester fiber fabric using a halogen-free compound as a flame retardant, having a sufficient flame retardance, and simultaneously accompanied by scarce water spots on a processed fabric; and a flame-retardant processed fabric to which the flame-retardant coating agent is applied.SOLUTION: The provided flame-retardant coating agent comprises: a crosslinked acrylic resin; aluminum trisdiethylphosphinate, aluminum trismethylethylphosphinate, or aluminum trisdiphenylphosphinate as a flame retardant component; a urethane association-type thickener; acetylene glycol; and a compatibility enhancer. Non-volatile component ratios, after drying at 150°C, of the flame retardant component, urethane association-type thickener, and acetylene glycol with respect to 1.0 of the crosslinked acrylic resin are respectively 0.3-2.0, 0.05-0.2, and 0.001-0.02. The compatibility enhancer has a boiling point of 80 to 150°C and is mixed, as a component not remaining after drying, at a ratio of 0.01-0.2 with respect to 1.0 of the non-volatile component of the crosslinked acrylic resin. A flame-retardant processed fabric to which the flame-retardant coating agent is applied is also provided. |
